We’re Dudu and David, two partners brought together by a shared belief: that children deserve toys that spark curiosity, nurture confidence, and encourage real-world skills. But MontePlay didn’t start as a business idea—it started as a personal journey.

The Story Behind MontePlay

For Dudu, Montessori wasn’t just a philosophy he read about—it became a way of life. As a father to two incredible girls, he watched them grow and learn in a world filled with noisy, flashy toys that seemed to entertain more than educate. He wanted something different. Something meaningful.

Through the Montessori approach, Dudu saw firsthand how simple, thoughtfully designed toys empowered his daughters to explore at their own pace, solve problems independently, and develop a deep love for learning. He became passionate about finding the best Montessori-inspired toys for them, but the search was frustrating—too many options lacked quality, intention, or true alignment with Montessori principles.

That’s where fate stepped in.

Dudu met David, who shared the same vision. With a background in eCommerce and a passion for purposeful play, David understood the impact of bringing high-quality, developmentally appropriate toys into more homes. Their conversations quickly turned into a mission: to make it easier for parents, caregivers, and educators to find toys that truly support children’s natural development. And so, MontePlay was born.
